Cookie Policy – Posido
Start playingThis page explains how Posido uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. We aim to be straightforward about what gets stored on your device when you visit posido.jetzt, why it's there, and what control you have over it.
How this site remembers you
A cookie is a small text file a website saves to your browser. When you return, the site reads that file and recognises you — nothing more complicated than that. Cookies let us remember your language choice, whether you've accepted this notice, and which pages you looked at during your visit. They do not contain personal information like your name or address unless you explicitly provide it through a form.
posido.jetzt sets necessary cookies to keep the site working — they handle your session, your preferences, and basic security. These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality. We also use analytics cookies, which track how visitors move around the site so we can improve the layout and content. Those require your consent, and you can decline them without losing access to anything important.
The analytics question
We use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns — which pages get read, how long people stay, where they click. This data is anonymised and aggregated; it tells us "200 visitors read the responsible gambling page this week", not "Jane Smith from Manchester spent four minutes there". Analytics cookies expire after two years unless you clear them sooner.
If you decline analytics tracking, the site still works exactly as it should. You'll see every page, every table, every link. The only difference is we won't know you were here, which is a perfectly reasonable choice.
Scripts we do not control
Some third-party services embedded on posido.jetzt — social-media share buttons, video players, advertising networks — may set their own cookies. We don't control what those scripts track or how long their cookies last. The organisations behind them have their own privacy policies, and you should read those if you're concerned about what they collect. We've kept third-party embeds to a minimum, but where they exist, they operate under their own rules.
Your options
Every modern browser lets you block, delete or manage cookies. The exact steps vary, but the principle is the same across all of them.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. You can block third-party cookies, clear existing ones, or see a list of every site that's stored something.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection blocks many third-party trackers by default.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Safari blocks most third-party cookies automatically and gives you a one-click option to remove everything a site has stored.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies. Edge inherited Chrome's cookie controls and works the same way.
Blocking all cookies will log you out of sites that need them and may break features like shopping baskets or preference panels. Blocking third-party cookies alone is a sensible middle ground — it stops cross-site tracking without interfering with the site you're actually visiting.
When this text changes
We review this policy whenever we add a new third-party service or change how we handle visitor data. Significant updates are noted at the bottom of the page with the revision date. Continued use of posido.jetzt after a change means you accept the updated terms.
If you have questions about how we use cookies, write to [email protected]. We'll respond within 48 hours.
